This is the professional page of Jeremy Land. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at Georgia State University in the department of History. I am most interested in economic history of the Atlantic World between roughly 1700-1850, though in all honesty many things interest me. I am deeply fascinated with science, space exploration and theoretical physics, but I am first and foremost a historian-in-training. I wish this to be an informative and thought provoking site that links to important pages and conferences that continue to expand the field of economic history. I am fully devoted to the improvement of the human condition, always considering the costs (both economic and social) associated with political decisions throughout the world. Ultimately, this page is meant to be a place where discussions can take place in an open, professional and cordial manner, where few topics are considered taboo.
